Ninobino is a free macOS app built to stay out of your way — and that includes staying out of your data. Here's exactly what it does and doesn't collect.

No accounts, no sign-in, no ads.
No analytics, telemetry, or tracking inside the app.
Your contexts, rules, and settings live only on your Mac.
The app touches the network for one reason: to check for and download updates.

What the app stores

Ninobino keeps your contexts, rules, and preferences in a local file on your Mac. This data never leaves your device and is never sent to us — there is no Ninobino server that could receive it.

Accessibility permission

Ninobino uses the macOS Accessibility API to read window titles and app names and to move focus between windows. That's what makes the switcher work. The information is used locally, in the moment, and is never stored remotely or transmitted anywhere.

Network activity

The only network requests the app makes are for automatic updates. Periodically, and whenever you check manually, Ninobino:

fetches a small manifest describing the latest version, and
if a newer version exists, downloads the update package.

These files are hosted on Amazon S3 (AWS). Like any web request, they include your device's IP address, which is visible to AWS as the host — no account, identifier, or usage data is attached. You can turn automatic updates off in Settings, after which the app makes no network requests at all until you check manually.

This website

This site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which measures aggregate page views without cookies and without collecting personal or cross-site data. The download button is resolved on the server, so your browser is never handed a third-party tracking URL. The site is hosted by Vercel.

Third parties

Amazon Web Services (S3) — hosts the app and its update files. See the AWS Privacy Notice.

There are no other third-party services, ad networks, or trackers.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it.
